Lucie Laflamme is a Professor at the Karolinska Institute, affiliated with the Department of Global Public Health. She leads the Injuries Social Aetiology and Consequences (ISAC) research group, which focuses on the global burden of injuries, their epidemiology, and prevention strategies. Her work emphasizes the social determinants of injuries, linking poverty to both causes and consequences of injury-related mortality and morbidity.
