Leo Temple is a Research Fellow at Jesus College, University of Cambridge, affiliated with the Department of Modern and Medieval Languages. His work bridges Latin American poetry, postcolonial theory, and media history.

Temple earned a BA in English Literature and Creative Writing from the University of East Anglia (2016) and an MPhil in European, Latin American, and Comparative Literatures and Cultures from Cambridge (2019). His doctoral research on Latin American vanguard poetry explored technology's symbolic role during economic/political upheaval.
Current projects focus on Brazil's 1888 abolition of slavery and its impact on poetic transitions from Romanticism to modern styles. Publications include analyses of Lúcio Cardoso's work through postcolonial and media theory lenses.
