Leo Care is a Senior Lecturer at the University of Sheffield, School of Architecture and Landscape. He is the Year 3 Undergraduate Programme Leader and Co-Director of Live Works, the UK's first university-led urban room. He is also a Director at Chiles Evans + Care Architects and co-founder of the Open House Project Cohousing group.

Research Interests include:
- Experiential learning in architectural education through Live Projects
- Community-led and participative design
- Cohousing (co-design, co-production, self-build)
- Inclusive architecture (faith, accessibility, gender)
- Healthy design and creative safety
- Learning environment design (global practice and policy)
Scientific Awards:
- Senior Fellow of the Higher Education Academy (2019)
- University Senate Fellowship for Excellence in Learning and Teaching (2014)
- CILASS Inquiry-Based Learning Award (2009)
Teaching and Professional Contributions: Led modules on high street futures, zero-carbon housing, and participatory design. Developed the MArch Learning Culture studio (2015-2019) and coordinated international design projects. Collaborated with organizations like South Yorkshire Housing Association, The Glass-House, and BDP.
