Leigh Anne Nelson

Dr. Leigh Anne Nelson is Professor of Pharmacy and Psychiatry with joint appointments at UMKC Schools of Pharmacy and Medicine. She is board-certified in psychiatric pharmacy and provides clinical services at Truman Medical Center Behavioral Health.

Clinical practice focuses on inpatient acute care psychiatry, specializing in schizophrenia pharmacotherapy and antipsychotic medication management. She teaches psychopharmacology to pharmacy and medical students.
