Lee Nickoson

Dr. Lee Nickoson is a Professor and Director of the Rhetoric & Writing Studies Program at Bowling Green State University’s College of Arts and Sciences. Specializing in composition pedagogy, feminist approaches, and community literacy, their work bridges academic and civic engagement as a Faculty Liaison to the Center for Civic and Community Engagement. They are affiliated with the Women's, Gender, and Sexuality Studies program.

Research focuses on qualitative methods, service learning, and multimodal writing assessment. Their publications emphasize feminist teacher research, campus-community partnerships, and student-centered pedagogy. Recent work includes the 2018 edited collection Composing Feminist Interventions.
