Kitty Burroughs

Kitty Burroughs is a Teaching Professor in the Department of English at Bowling Green State University (BGSU), affiliated with the Honors College. She has served as a Faculty Senate Representative (2017–2023) and Undergraduate Council Representative (2019–2022), emphasizing institutional governance and student advocacy.

• Education: Ph.D. in English – Rhetoric and Writing (BGSU, 1998), M.A. in English – Literature (University of Northern Iowa, 1992), B.A. in English – TESOL (University of Northern Iowa, 1989).

Her research focuses on composition pedagogy, developmental education, and inclusive teaching practices.
