Lee Kalcsits

Lee Kalcsits is an Associate Professor and Endowed Chair of Tree Fruit Environmental Physiology and Management at Washington State University's Tree Fruit Research and Extension Center (TFREC) in Wenatchee, WA. He leads a research team focusing on environmental physiology of apples, pears, and cherries, addressing abiotic stress, plant nutrition, and the preharvest/postharvest physiology interface. His work integrates agroecological, whole-plant, and molecular approaches to improve fruit tree productivity and resilience to environmental challenges.
