Lee Farrow is an Adjunct Professor and Community Scholar at Stonehill College, where she has been teaching since 2011 in the MCD Program. She is also the Director of the Center for Non-Profit Management. Her teaching includes courses such as Leadership, Women and Community Organizing; Community Grassroots; and Community Organizing: Micro to Macro.
Her research and professional interests focus on community-led development, social justice, and leadership among marginalized groups. She has worked extensively in community organizing, particularly with women in conflict-affected regions and urban communities affected by violence and poverty.
Lee Farrow has collaborated with organizations such as Mothers for Justice and Equality, Boston Rising, and My Sister’s Keeper. She co-designed the Boston Community Learning Project at MIT and was the Mel King Community Fellow. Her work emphasizes participatory evaluation, community empowerment, and healing-centered leadership.
She has held leadership roles including Chief Operating Officer at My Sister’s Keeper and Embedded Evaluator at Boston Rising. Her expertise spans international peace building and local anti-poverty initiatives, with field experience in Sudan and across Massachusetts.
Lee Farrow is actively engaged in community-based education and advocacy, bridging academic scholarship with grassroots action.
