Lee Chien-Liang

Prof. Dr. Lee Chien-Liang is a Research Professor at the Institutum Iurisprudentiae (Academia Sinica) and Joint Appointment Professor of Law at National Taiwan University's College of Law. His expertise spans constitutional law, administrative law, and environmental protection law. He holds a Ph.D. in Chinese Literature from National Taiwan University (1991). His research emphasizes applying legal theory to practical contexts, including historical legal system analysis and principle deduction. Notable works include the three-volume Constitutional Theory and Practice series and over 100 research papers. He teaches advanced legal seminars on environmental law, constitutional rights, and administrative law case studies.

During his 2010 residency at the European Research Center on Contemporary Taiwan, his work focused on comparative legal studies and judicial review mechanisms. His publications bridge Taiwanese legal practices with international frameworks, particularly through comparative analyses with German systems. Lee's contributions address the interplay between constitutional and administrative law, legal paradigms, and environmental governance challenges.
