Tay-Sheng Wang is a Full-time Professor at the College of Law, National Taiwan University (NTU), and a researcher at both the Institute of Taiwan History and Institutum Iurisprudentiae at Academia Sinica. Holding a Ph.D. from the University of Washington (1992), he specializes in Taiwan Legal History, Chinese Legal Traditions, and Law and Society.

Professor Wang's research focuses on comparative legal history and the evolution of Taiwan's legal systems across pre-colonial, Japanese colonial, and post-war periods.
