Leanne Smith is an Associate Professor of Management in the College of Business at Lipscomb University. She specializes in Business Communication, Women in Business, and Entrepreneurship. Her research focuses on integrating Christian ethics into business education and mission-driven leadership. She has led international student trips to Europe, Asia, and beyond, and taught in Lipscomb's LIFE Program at The Tennessee Prison for Women (2012–2019). Awards include two Outstanding Teacher Awards (2010, 2018).
Her scholarly work emphasizes mission-driven business education, as seen in her 2018 article on Christian business school missions. She also explores themes of vocational purpose through her podcast, *Gladness & Hunger*, which connects storytelling with career development.
