Leah Plunkett is the inaugural Assistant Dean for Learning Experience & Technology (LXT) at Harvard Law School and holds the Meyer Research Lecturer title. She leads LXT's interdisciplinary team creating innovative online educational resources. Previously, she served as Associate Professor and Associate Dean at University of New Hampshire Franklin Pierce School of Law, pioneering hybrid JD programs in IP/IT law. A leading scholar in youth privacy, she authored Sharenthood (MIT Press, 2019) through her Berkman Klein Center fellowship.
Her research focuses on children's digital privacy, edtech governance, and parental data-sharing ethics. Key initiatives include the Student Privacy Initiative and Digital Citizenship+ Resource Platform. She actively advises policymakers on laws governing child influencers and K-12 data protection.
