Mailyn Fidler is an Assistant Professor of Law at the University of New Hampshire's Franklin Pierce School of Law. She specializes in cybersecurity law, Fourth Amendment jurisprudence, and the intersection of criminalization with online speech. Her work bridges technology policy, privacy rights, and international regulatory frameworks.
Education:
- B.A. in Science, Technology, and Society (Stanford University, with Honors)
- MPhil in International Relations (Oxford University, as a Marshall Scholar)
- J.D. from Yale Law School
Research focuses on evolving digital technologies' legal implications, including facial recognition systems, data protection laws, and cybercrime dynamics. Recent publications analyze zero-day vulnerabilities, African data privacy frameworks, and Fourth Amendment applications in surveillance contexts.
