Lawrence Stacey is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Sociology at Vanderbilt University. He is affiliated with the Center for Research on Inequality and Health and serves as core faculty in the LGBTQ+ Policy Lab. His research focuses on health disparities related to gender, sexuality, and medical sociology, with a particular emphasis on documenting inequalities beyond the gender binary and exploring the role of social institutions in shaping health outcomes.
