Laurie MARRAULD

Laurie MARRAULD is a Senior Lecturer at the School of Advanced Studies in Public Health (EHESP), affiliated with the Institute of Management (IdM). She holds a Doctorate in Management Sciences from Télécom ParisTech and completed postdoctoral fellowships at the LGI (Ecole Centrale de Paris) and CRG (Ecole Polytechnique). Her research focuses on the socio-technical impacts of ICT in healthcare, particularly in contexts of epidemiological and demographic transitions. She explores ambivalent effects of technologies, patient citizenship through digital tools, and healthcare system governance.

Her expertise includes e-health development, project management methodologies, and health system coordination. Courses taught encompass challenges in connected health, including telemedicine, data security, and personalized medicine. She has co-authored key works such as the report on 'The State of Innovation in Digital Health' and the book 'Health Management: Management and Conduct of Health Organizations.'

Research interests span health system organization, patient engagement models, and the ethical implications of big data in healthcare. Her work bridges management sciences with digital health innovation, addressing both functional and security dimensions of health information systems.
