Bertrand PARENT

Bertrand PARENT is a Professor at EHESP School of Public Health, affiliated with the Institute of Management (IdM). He holds a Doctorate in Information and Communication Sciences and has been a lecturer-researcher at EHESP/ENSP since 2005. His research focuses on health organization management, including executive competence, hospital production models, crisis communication, and territorial regulation of healthcare services.

Key roles include Director of the Reunion delegation (Indian Ocean Health Agency, 2015-2018), Head of the Executive MBA program (EHESP/ESCP/Columbia, 2009-2012), and Vice-President of the French Society for Information and Communication Sciences (SFSIC, 2006-2010). He co-managed the Org&Co research group (300+ members) within SFSIC and is a member of the HCSP (High Committee for Public Health), ANSM’s Health Products Information Committee, and the Arbo-France network at Institut Pasteur Paris.

Teaching expertise includes crisis management, strategic communication, and operational health management. His work emphasizes health system evolution, risk management, and coordinated multi-professional practices.
