Laurie Beaudonnet is an Associate Professor at the Department of Political Science, Faculty of Arts and Sciences, University of Montreal. She holds a PhD in Political Science from the European University Institute (Italy) and has directed the Jean Monnet Center of Excellence in Montreal since 2019.

Research Interests focus on political attitudes in multi-level systems (especially EU), public opinion, electoral behavior, and political parties. She analyzes how national contexts and individual values shape EU support, using mixed methods and cross-national comparisons.
Scientific Leadership includes directing the RESTEP transatlantic research network (2017-2021) and holding the Jean Monnet EuroScope Chair (2015-2019). Her funded projects examine EU boundaries, democratic resilience, and citizen perspectives.
