Lauren Visel is the Director of the Carleton Symphony Band and Instructor in Music at Carleton College since 2023. She holds a DMA in Wind Conducting from the University of Minnesota, an MMus in Wind Conducting from the University of British Columbia, and a BSci in Music Education from Tennessee Technological University.
