معرفی
Lauren Doyle is a PhD researcher at Northumbria University and Armagh Observatory, focusing on solar and stellar flares. She holds a BSc and MSc (Res) in Physics and Astronomy from the University of Glasgow, where her early work centered on solar flare studies.
- Education:
- BSc Physics and Astronomy, University of Glasgow
- MSc (Res) Physics and Astronomy, University of Glasgow
Her research investigates solar flares at chromospheric levels and extends to stellar flares on low-mass stars, leveraging solar flare insights. She examines magnetic field structures in flare events and active regions, utilizing data from instruments like SST/CRISP, SDO, Hinode/EIS, and Kepler/K2. Additionally, she advocates for gender equality in Physics and Astronomy through the Juno committee and engages in science outreach at Armagh Planetarium and local schools.
She is supervised by Dr. Eamon Scullion and contributes to Northumbria University's research excellence in astrophysics.
