Laura Northeast is a Lecturer in the Faculty of Science and Engineering at Anglia Ruskin University, based at the Writtle campus. She is affiliated with the Psychology, Sport and Sensory Science School, focusing on nutrition, psychology, and strength and conditioning. Her research includes optimizing match preparation for junior squash players and exploring the impact of interventions on mental health and athletic performance.

Laura teaches modules in BSc Applied Sport Science and BSc Sport Science for Health, covering psychology, coaching, and professional skills. She is a member of the Sport and Exercise Nutritionist Register (SenR) and has contributed to squash magazine articles, sharing insights on athlete preparation.
