Laura Maria Comella

Dr.-Ing. Laura Maria Comella is a Professor at the Faculty of Mechanical Engineering and Mechatronics, Hochschule Karlsruhe. She specializes in sensor development, embedded systems, and intelligent algorithms. Her research focuses on advancing stretchable electronics, microfluidic device fabrication, and material science innovations.

Her key projects include the GALLISENSE initiative and O2 Sensor System for Living Materials. She supervises doctoral candidates Christoph Lehmann and Abhishek Sharma.
