Laura Hyde

Laura Hyde is a Lecturer and Law Clinic Manager at the School of Law, Ulster University, based in Belfast. She transitioned from private practice (specializing in commercial and property law) to clinical legal education after earning her LL.B in Law and Diploma in Legal Practice from Cardiff University. Her work focuses on experiential learning, student-professional engagement, and community legal advice provision.

. She is a Fellow of Advance HE (FHEA) with postgraduate qualifications in higher education from Aston University.

Externally, she served as Vice Chair of the Birmingham Law Society Pro Bono Committee, advocating for community legal support. Recent activity includes organizing the Guelph Humber student visit on 8 May 2024.
