Laura Goldstein is an Advanced Lecturer in the Department of English at Loyola University Chicago, where she has taught since 2005 and served as a lecturer since 2012. Her primary academic focus lies in Contemporary Poetry, Anti-Racist Essays, and Experimental Literature. She earned her BA from the University of Pennsylvania, an MA from Temple University, and an MFA from the School of the Art Institute of Chicago.
Research Interests: Her work explores innovative poetic forms, Afro-futurism, and anti-racist discourse. She frequently examines digital humanities frameworks and urban cultural narratives in her writing.
Publications: Goldstein's recent works include the book awesome camera (2014) and the chapbook safe wars / poet in hell (2018). Her poetry and essays have appeared in Elderly Magazine, The Denver Quarterly, and Performance Response Journal, often intersecting technology, politics, and contemporary poetics.
Community Engagement: She co-curates the Red Rover Reading Series in Chicago and actively participates in the city's literary community.
