Laura Biggart is an Associate Professor in Social Science Research at the University of East Anglia's School of Psychology, serving as Director of Development and Innovation. She holds a BSc (Hons) in Psychosocial Sciences and a PhD from UEA. Her research focuses on emotional intelligence, team resilience, wellbeing in applied settings, and work-life balance.
Education:
- PhD in Psychosocial influences on Fathers' work-family conflict (UEA, 2010)
- BSc (Hons) in Psychosocial Sciences (UEA, 2005)
Key Research Interests:
Explore emotional resilience in workplaces, particularly in social work and healthcare sectors. Developed the Team as Secure Base model to enhance team resilience, with applications in remote work settings during the pandemic. Collaborates with external partners on projects like the OpenUp UEA student support app and telerehabilitation tools for brain injury survivors.

Teaching:
