Lars O. Hedin is a Professor in the Department of Ecology and Evolutionary Biology at Princeton University. His research focuses on ecosystem analysis, emphasizing global nutrient cycling patterns, greenhouse gas dynamics, and evolutionary influences on biogeochemical systems. He leads interdisciplinary studies spanning local microbial processes to global ecosystem controls.
