Lars Groth

Lars Groth is a Professor Emeritus at the Department for Informatics, University of Oslo. His research focuses on the intersection of information technology and organizational structure, emphasizing how IT drives organizational change and project implementation. With over 30 years in IT consulting, he specializes in IT project management, organizational restructuring, and IT strategy alignment.

Education: MSc in Sociology (University of Oslo, 1977) and Dr. oecon (Norwegian School of Economics, 1997). Author of influential books including Future Organizational Design (1999) and Lederen, organisasjonen og informasjonsteknologien (2005).
