Larry Schucht is an Adjunct Professor at the University of Oregon School of Law and Willamette University College of Law, specializing in Workers’ Compensation Law. He has been an attorney at SAIF Corporation since 1989 and is a member of the Oregon State Bar since 1986. He holds a BS in Business Administration from the University of Nebraska at Kearney (1982) and a JD from Creighton University (1986).
His professional experience includes roles at Bottini, Bottini & Lehner and Stoel Rives Boley Jones & Grey. Schucht focuses on workers’ compensation law, alternative dispute resolution (ADR), and legal ethics. He contributed to the Oregon State Bar’s Workers’ Compensation CLE Handbook (2000, 2008) and authored Alternative Dispute Resolution in Oregon, Chapter 17, State Agencies (2018).
He has spoken at notable events, including the Oregon Law Institute (2015), the Oregon State Bar’s Effective and Ethical Communication seminar (2016), and the Workers’ Compensation Section annual meetings (2020, 2021). In 2015, he received the Workers’ Compensation Section Professionalism and Service Award.
