Lara Wolf is a Professor of Fashion and Foundation Studies at Savannah College of Art and Design (SCAD), a position she has held since 2007. She teaches courses in fashion sketching, life drawing, and art education, and has contributed to academic and industry projects through collaborations with entities like Anna-Marie Lopez and SCADFILM. Her career spans over two decades, with roles including teaching assistant, mural instructor, and costume design assistant.
Wolf holds an M.F.A. in Illustration from SCAD (Savannah, GA) and a B.F.A. in Fine Arts from the School of the Art Institute of Chicago. She has also completed internships and teaching roles at institutions such as the Telfair Jepson Center for the Arts and Blue Lake Fine Arts Camp.
Her awards include the 2014 Excellence in Teaching Nomination from SCAD’s Student Ambassadors, the 2004 Artistic Merit Fellowship from SCAD, and the 1997 Art Department Award from Lansing Eastern High School. Her work extends beyond academia to projects like murals for Ben & Jerry’s Navy Pier and decorative wall paintings in schools and private residences.
