Mengjie Di

Mengjie Di is a Teaching Professor in Fashion at Savannah College of Art and Design (SCAD), where she has taught since 2012. She holds an M.F.A. in Fashion from SCAD and a B.S. in Fashion Design from Xi’an Academy of Fine Arts.

Di specializes in fashion illustration, CAD, concept development, and multimedia design for fashion. Her courses include undergraduate and graduate instruction in fashion sketching, portfolio development, and digital design techniques. She developed online curricula for Fashion Sketching and Drawing & Illustration courses.

As a professional illustrator, Di has created seasonal collections for international fashion consultancies including Promostyl and Peclers Paris. Her work has been featured in publications like Women's Wear Daily and books including Fashion Design: The Complete Guide and The Greater Book of Fashion Illustration. She contributed to the 2014 International Youth Design Exhibition at Benjamin Franklin Institute of Technology.
