Laney Armstrong is an Assistant Professor of Music and Director of Chorale Activities at Whitman College. She specializes in choral conducting and music education, with a focus on Baltic folk music traditions and Kodaly teaching methods. Her career spans roles as a conductor, educator, and researcher, including founding membership in Harvard University's Choral Fellows program and a doctorate exploring Estonian composer Cyrillus Kreek's spiritual folksongs.
