Ladd Taylor

Dr. Ladd Taylor serves as Vice President for the Tradition Campus and Professor of Higher Education at William Carey University, a position he assumed on July 1, 2025 after more than twenty years of progressive leadership roles at Mississippi Gulf Coast Community College (MGCCC). His administrative portfolio includes oversight of campus operations, student services, and academic programming within the Tradition Campus framework.

His educational qualifications include:

• Doctorate in Higher Education Administration from William Carey University
• Specialist Degree in Higher Education Administration from William Carey University
• Master’s Degree in Adult Education from The University of Southern Mississippi
• Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration from The University of Southern Mississippi
• Associate Degree from Mississippi Gulf Coast Community College

Dr. Taylor's professional focus centers on higher education administration, student affairs leadership, community college systems, and educational policy development. His career demonstrates sustained commitment to institutional advancement and student success initiatives across multiple higher education sectors.

Dr. Taylor has participated in prestigious leadership programs including the AACC Commission for Student Success, AACC Future Presidents Institute, Leadership Gulf Coast, and the Mississippi Education Policy Fellowship Program. His earlier career included grant administration at The University of Southern Mississippi. He maintains active community engagement through the Gulf Coast Community Foundation Stone County Endowment Advisory Committee and Stone County Economic Development Partnership Board (as past chairman), and serves as charter member and past president of the Stone County Kiwanis Club.
