Lachlan Dalli is a Research Fellow at Monash University’s Faculty of Medicine, Nursing and Health Sciences, affiliated with the Victorian Heart Institute (VHI) and the School of Clinical Sciences at Monash Health. He is a National Heart Foundation Postdoctoral Fellow (2024–2025) and leads multiple research projects in stroke pharmacoepidemiology and real-world data analytics.

His research focuses on pharmacoepidemiology, stroke prevention, medication adherence, and health equity, utilizing large datasets like the Australian Stroke Clinical Registry (AuSCR) and Pharmaceutical Benefits Scheme. He led the development of the TEN-SPIDERS reporting tool, now endorsed by the EQUATOR network. His work aims to improve stroke care quality and outcomes through data-driven insights.
His recent publications (2023–2024) reflect a strong focus on stroke epidemiology, health policy evaluation, medication adherence, social determinants of health, and global burden of disease. These studies often employ advanced statistical methods and linked registry data to assess real-world effectiveness of interventions and identify care disparities.

Lachlan actively supervises PhD candidates and contributes to national and international research networks. He has served as a statistical editor and committee co-chair for professional organizations. His grants include a Jack Brockhoff Foundation Early Career Medical Grant and multiple Monash-funded projects. He is also involved in public engagement, with media appearances on stroke prevention and health equity.
