Kyle Mallari serves as Adjunct Professor of Trumpet at Mercer University's School of Music, where he teaches applied trumpet lessons and contributes to the brass program. He maintains an active performance career as acting principal trumpet of the Tallahassee Symphony Orchestra, second trumpet in the Northwest Florida Symphony, third trumpet in the Pensacola Symphony, and substitute musician for Sinfonia Gulf Coast, while also performing with chamber ensembles including Bold City Contemporary Ensemble, Four Seasons Brass, and Jacksonville Brass Quintet.

As an educator, Mallari has exceptional student outcomes with multiple All-State principal chair winners, International Trumpet Guild Conference performers, and National Trumpet Competition finalists/semi-finalists, including coaching the Large Trumpet Ensemble to second place in 2019. He regularly provides masterclasses for all skill levels and serves on faculty at Blue Lake Fine Arts Camp during summer months.
