Kyle Keeler is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Environmental Sciences and Studies at Lafayette College. Their research and teaching focus on the intersection of environmental humanities, environmental justice, Native American and Indigenous studies, and climate studies, with a particular emphasis on challenging human exceptionalism through relational and reciprocal frameworks in literature, law, and history.
- Education: PhD in Environmental Sciences, Studies, and Policy from the University of Oregon (2023); MA in English Literature from Kent State University (2018).
Keeler's work critically examines environmental relations in American literature, law, and history, analyzing how narratives and legislation impact human and non-human interactions.
