Kyle De Young is a Clinical Professor in the Department of Psychology at the University of Wyoming since 2024, with prior roles as Associate (2020-2024) and Assistant Professor (2016-2020). He completed his Ph.D. in Clinical Psychology (2011) and M.A. in Psychology (2008) at the University at Albany, B.S. in Psychology, and B.A. in Philosophy (2004) at the University of Iowa.

Research Interests: Kyle leads the Eating Behaviors Laboratory, focusing on biobehavioral approaches to eating disorders. His work explores circadian rhythm manipulation to reduce binge eating, psychometrics, and single-case experimental designs. Recent publications analyze topics like delusional beliefs in anorexia, ethical challenges in stepped care, and diurnal patterns in eating behaviors.
Teaching: Courses include Health Psychology, Eating Disorders, and advanced clinical practicums. Service: Notable roles in the Academy for Eating Disorders (Past-President) and editorial work for Eating Behaviors. Mentored 10+ students in eating disorder research.
