Kwon Kyung Yoon

Dr. Kyung Yoon Kwon is a Senior Lecturer in Accounting and Finance at the Strathclyde Business School, University of Strathclyde. He holds a Ph.D. in Finance from KAIST College of Business (2017) and joined Strathclyde in 2018. His research focuses on empirical asset pricing, market microstructure, international financial markets, and derivatives markets. His work has been published in journals such as Journal of Futures Markets, Pacific-Basin Finance Journal, and Emerging Markets Finance and Trade.

His studies often highlight anomalies and risk premia in international markets.

Grants & Advising: He co-led a £18,000 Beit Trust-funded PhD studentship (2023–2024) and advises doctoral student Stacy Kuyewawa. His recent projects include studies on sustainability-linked fund names and retail investor loyalty.
