Kumar Biswas

Dr. Kumar Biswas is a Senior Lecturer in Management at the University of Wollongong's School of Business, part of the Faculty of Business & Law. He holds a PhD from the University of Newcastle, an MBA from the University of Dhaka (Dean's Honours List), and a BBA (Dean's Merit List). His research focuses on AI in ethical HR practices, gender diversity, firm performance, big data, and sustainable management. He has been funded by the University of Wollongong's Advancement and Equity Grants Scheme for projects addressing algorithmic bias in AI-driven HR systems. Dr. Biswas has served as a journal reviewer for the Academy of Management, ANZAM, and BAM, and previously held roles at the University of Newcastle, Federation University Australia, and institutions in Bangladesh. His teaching interests include AI's impact on HR, firm performance, and student learning. He supervises PhD candidates exploring topics like implicit leadership theories and followers' workplace dignity.
