Krystyna Bembennek is an Assistant in the Department of the History of Ancient, Medieval and Modern Philosophy at the Institute of Philosophy, Faculty of Social Sciences, University of Gdańsk. She actively contributes to philosophical education, research projects on Paul Ricoeur's hermeneutic philosophy, and organizational roles in academic conferences.

Her research focuses on hermeneutics, modern philosophy, ethical subjectivity, and philosophical education, with a specialization in Ricoeur studies. She explores narrative identity, historical interpretation, and the intersection of philosophy with ethics and pedagogy.
She has led educational initiatives like the 'W szkole Sokratesa' project (2017–2018) and the 'Pomorska Akademia Kompetencji Społecznych' (2021–2022), both funded by European Union programs. Her publications analyze Ricoeur's dialogues with Husserl, Lévinas, and Nietzsche, while her conference participation spans topics like solidarity, secularism, and Socratic teaching methods.
