Kristy A. Cote is an Associate Professor at the School of Law, Creighton University, with a focus on legal analysis, legal writing, and advocacy. She has been teaching since 1993, joining Creighton's undergraduate program in 1995 and transitioning to the Law School in 2002. Her courses include commercial contract drafting, client counseling, negotiations, and bar exam preparation.
Her research integrates practical legal training methodologies and innovative applications of technology in healthcare safety. She has co-authored publications on legal writing pedagogy and pandemic response strategies leveraging 3D printing.
Professor Cote serves on the Bar Outreach Committee and Scholarship Committee of the Legal Writing Institute and has coached Creighton's National Moot Court Teams since 2012. She is affiliated with the Legal Writing Institute and contributes to interdisciplinary research collaborations.
