Associate Professor Kristle Romero Cortes is affiliated with the School of Banking and Finance within the UNSW Business School. Holding a PhD in Finance from Boston College and a BA in Economics and Philosophy from Northwestern University, she previously worked at the Federal Reserve Bank of Cleveland, contributing to the Federal Open Market Committee process.

- Government subsidized loan programs
Dr. Cortés teaches FINS3633 Real Estate Finance and FINS5533 Real Estate Finance and Investment, and has presented at major conferences including the Melbourne Money & Finance Conference and Financial Intermediation Research Society events.
