معرفی
Kristine Roos is a researcher in reproductive and molecular biology at Tallinn University of Technology's School of Science, Department of Chemistry and Biotechnology. She holds a Doctor's Degree (2024) and Master's in Biomedicine (2016). Her work focuses on ovarian folliculogenesis, endocrine-disrupting chemicals, and molecular markers of infertility. She has been affiliated with institutions like AS Nova Vita Clinic as an Embryologist and conducted lab research at North Estonia Medical Centre Foundation.
Key research interests include phthalate impacts on reproductive health, cytokine dynamics in pregnancy, and environmental toxicology. She has published extensively in journals like Reproductive Toxicology and Frontiers in Endocrinology, with over 14 peer-reviewed articles. Awards include the 2022 Estonian Society of Human Genetics' Best Young Scientist award and poster recognition at ESHRE.
Her research integrates molecular techniques (RNA-seq, miRNA profiling) with clinical data to explore infertility mechanisms. She co-supervised a master's thesis on follicular cell types and collaborated on projects funded by Estonian Research Council grants. Active in professional societies, she is a member of the European Society of Human Reproduction and Embryology.
