Kristina Safar is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Psychology at Trent University. Her research focuses on the development of emotion processing and socio-emotional abilities in typical development and autism spectrum disorder, employing behavioral and neurophysiological methods such as electroencephalography (EEG) and magnetoencephalography (MEG). She holds a MA and PhD from Toronto Metropolitan University and completed a postdoctoral fellowship at The Hospital for Sick Children.
