Kristina Riman

Prof. Dr. Kristina Riman is a full professor at the Faculty of Education Sciences, Juraj Dobrila University in Pula, Croatia. She holds appointments in the Department of Early and Preschool Education, specializing in children's literature, literary theory, and educational practices. Her career includes roles as a preschool teacher and senior assistant at the University of Rijeka, with extensive experience teaching courses like Croatian Children's Novel and Contemporary Literary Theories in Children's Literature.

Her research focuses on Slovenian-Croatian cultural relations, early childhood education, and the role of literature in fostering creativity and inclusive values. Notable projects include leading the doctoral program The Educational Role of Literary Texts and contributing to the Libri et liberi journal. She actively participates in organizations like the Croatian Association of Children's Literature Researchers.
