Kristina Medlinskiene

Kristina Medlinskiene is an Associate Professor at the School of Pharmacy & Medical Sciences, University of Bradford. She holds dual roles as Programme Lead for the Foundation Training Consortium (a partnership between University of Bradford, Imaan Healthcare, and Buttercups Training) and Educational Programme Director for foundation training at Hull University Teaching Hospitals NHS Trust. Her work focuses on advancing pharmacy education through innovative methods like Team-Based Learning (TBL), implementing new medicines/services in healthcare systems, and promoting sustainable healthcare practices. She is a member of Pharmacy Declares, advocating for environmental sustainability in healthcare.

Her research spans barriers/enablers to new medicine adoption, patient-centered care in atrial fibrillation management, and pharmacogenomics in mental health. In 2022, she was honored by the Pharmaceutical Journal as 'Women to Watch 2022' for contributions to race equality initiatives and research integration in healthcare. She has extensive clinical experience across aseptic, cardiology, renal, and general medicine pharmacy sectors.

Dr. Medlinskiene has published 27 peer-reviewed articles and led/published 9 awards-recognized projects. Her educational portfolio includes teaching MPharm undergraduates, physician associates, and postgraduates in clinical pharmacy (secondary care). She actively contributes to professional associations and has presented at major conferences like the UK Implementation Science Research Conference.
