Kristie Dickson

Kristie Dickson is a Researcher in the School of Life Sciences (SoLS) at the University of Technology Sydney (UTS), part of the Faculty of Science. She is affiliated with the Translational Oncology Group and the Women & Children’s Health Research Collaborative (WCHC). Her career includes roles at the University of Sydney, Kolling Institute of Medical Research, and biotech company EnGeneIC. She holds a Bachelor of Science (Honours) in Biological/Biomedical Sciences from UTS (1998).

Her research focuses on ovarian cancer, CRISPR gene editing techniques (knockout/base editing), 3D cancer modeling using bioprinters, and epigenetic mechanisms in malignancies. Notable contributions include seminal work on cancer drug delivery systems and studies on chemoresistance and epigenomic regulation in ovarian cancer.

Recent work includes a 2024 grant exploring FDA-approved compounds for ARID1A mutant ovarian cancer treatment. Her articles address therapeutic vulnerabilities in rare ovarian malignancies, PARP inhibitor repurposing, and CRISPR base-editing predictions.
