Kristian Rozells

Kristian Rozells is a Senior Lecturer at the University of Chester, affiliated with the School for the Creative Industries under the Faculty of Arts, Humanities, and Social Sciences. He serves as Programme Leader for the MA Popular Music program and leads modules on the BA Popular Music Performance and BA Music Production programs.

Research Interests focus on enhancing listening skills for popular musicians via transcription methods, leveraging virtual learning environments (VLEs) to improve pedagogy, and strategies for producing commercially successful pop music.

Teaching Interests include popular composition, improvisation, and performance studies across postgraduate and undergraduate music programs.
