Kristian Myrseth is Professor of Management at the University of York's School for Business and Society. He holds a Ph.D. in Managerial and Organizational Behavior from the University of Chicago Booth School of Business and an A.B. in Economics from Harvard University.
His research examines behavioral decision-making through laboratory experiments, surveys, and field studies. Key areas include self-control mechanisms, cognitive foundations of cooperation, risk perception, and consumer finance. Recent publications explore inflation expectation formation and ethical decision-making in organizational contexts.
Professor Myrseth serves as Associate Editor for the Journal of Economic Psychology and leads postgraduate research programs. His work appears in premier journals including PNAS, Psychological Science, and Journal of Finance.
