Kristen Sienkiewicz is an Assistant Professor of Horn at Austin Peay State University, teaching horn, ear training, and conducting brass ensembles. She is a sought-after freelance horn player in Nashville and performs with orchestras across the southeastern U.S., including as co-principal horn of the Gateway Chamber Orchestra. Previously, she was active in Boston with groups like Bala Chamber Brass, an internationally acclaimed quintet known for premiering contemporary works.

Her research and performance focus includes revitalizing the brass quintet genre through modern repertoire. Dr. Sienkiewicz also maintains an active role in music education, holding the Performer's Certificate from Eastman and a Music-in-Education concentration from New England Conservatory.
