Dr. Krishna Sharma is a Research Fellow and Postdoctoral Research Associate at the Department of Chemistry, University of York, within the Green Chemistry Centre of Excellence (GCCE). His work focuses on sustainable organic chemistry, particularly utilizing biorenewable solvents and water-based synthesis. He holds a PhD in Chemistry from the University of Cambridge, an MSc by Research in Organic Chemistry from the University of Oxford, and a BSc (Hons) in Chemistry from the University of Delhi with distinction.
Research Interests: Sustainable organic reactions, green chemistry, protein-protein interaction inhibitors for cancer therapy, fluorination chemistry, and biocatalytic processes. His research emphasizes environmentally benign synthesis methods, including the use of water as a solvent and surfactant-driven reactions.
