Kris Rowley is a Senior Lecturer and Principle Investigator in the Senator Patrick Leahy School of Cybersecurity and Advanced Computing at Norwich University, where he teaches courses in information security and cybersecurity. He previously served as Vermont’s Chief Information Security Officer (CISO) for seven years before becoming a full-time faculty member.

Rowley specializes in information security, cybersecurity, and digital forensics, with a focus on cyber law and security policy. His industry experience includes collaborations with the Department of Homeland Security, FBI, and Vermont security organizations. He has published in industry publications and received the Computer World Honors Laureate for his contributions to digital security. Rowley teaches courses such as IA241 Cyber Law and Cyber Crime, CS300 Management of Information Systems, and CS100 Introduction to Cyber Security.
